India
India is simply vast and its sights and smells
assault the senses. From the Himalayan region of 'Little Tibet'
in the far north, to the beaches and hidden temples of Kerala in
the South, there is a part of India which will suit everyone. For
those who want a truly exotic experience, the deserts of Rajasthan
offer camel trekking whilst sleeping under the stars.
Ladakh Trek
& Stok Kangri Climb
The Ladakh region of northern India is known as
'Little Tibet' and it unquestionably resembles its namesake in both
scenery, which is arid and dry, and in culture, which is predominantly
Buddhist. Our challenge takes us into the wild Markha Valley where
we can climb the Himalayan trekking peak of Stok Kangri.
