Patrick Sheridan, our Long-haul specialist is going on holiday
next month to Burma. Myanmar as it is now known, remains under
the tight control of the military and some people think tourists
should not visit. However, there are good reasons to go: The
vast majority of locals would like tourist to come - locals
see that they are not forgotten. A large proportion of the
careful traveler's expenses goes to the private sector.
Could this be a suitable destination for UK Schools? We await
