1. You will travel as an independent group and will never be combined with other groups or individuals. This guarantees a more personal, flexible, and educationally appropriate experience for your group.

2. As it is your own tour, we will custom-design your itinerary with you and for you. We will encourage you to revise one of our standard outlines until you have an itinerary that suits your specific needs.

3. We will provide a Casterbridge Tour Guide with your group from arrival to departure. This will allow us to provide the maximum cultural and educational impact throughout your tour. The local knowledge and personal touches of our guides are particularly beneficial in the evenings and their permanent presence is invaluable to group leaders.

4. We will always quote a comprehensive package that includes all excursions and admission costs. In itself, this practice provides additional assurance that your group will not have to carry around so much spending money on tour. Equally, it ensures that you get the best savings at every scheduled attraction on tour and that your whole group gains the cultural benefit of all admissions, with no one placed at a disadvantage.

5. We will provide nonstop flights, if available, or book the best flight routing possible for your group on the dates you select. We will only use major, scheduled airlines, such as BA, IcelandAir, Iberia, Delta, American, Continental, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, or Air France, etc. We will never use charter flights. This will ensure you arrive at your destination as fresh as possible and travel at the time most convenient for your group.

6. We will strive, at all times, to demonstrate the highest standards of honesty, integrity, personal service, and attention to detail in the planning and operation of every tour. We will guarantee your tour dates and departure at time of booking and pledge that there will be no hidden registration or membership fees, optional excursions, adult supplements, weekend travel supplements, airport taxes, or transport costs.

7. We aim to provide a genuinely authentic cultural experience in all our destinations. This means using smaller, family owned hotels wherever possible; eating at local restaurants that provide native ethnic cuisine; and encouraging direct interaction with the local culture and people.

8. We will endeavor to enhance the educational content of your tour by creating thematic days or a chronological arrangement of historical events, which will contribute to a coherent presentation of your major themes. In this way, your programme participants can more readily gain an understanding of the key themes covered in your tour, as well as retain knowledge of major figures, events, terminology, and concepts.

9. Our daily itineraries will be carefully planned with you to ensure you travel less and see more, and to provide your group with a variety of educational tours and visits, recreational activities, and cultural experiences. We prefer time for in-depth visits to attractions, rather than hurrying from site to site.
