Naturally, we take you to the most famous and important cities, but we also plan our itineraries to allow time to visit those ‘undiscovered’ towns and villages which will give you a real flavour of the local way of life and traditions.

All experienced travellers know that spending too much time traveling can be counterproductive. Whenever possible, we design our well-planned itineraries with a minimum of hotel changes to avoid continually packing and unpacking.

We cut out unnecessary travelling just to say “been there, done that,” and we always include the maximum time available to visit attractions, rather than just drive past them, or, as some travel operators do, walk you through them at a military marching pace.

Each of our well-planned itineraries includes days devoted to a specific theme, or is arranged either in chronological or sequential order to facilitate learning and create a more interesting tour experience.

We aim for a careful balance of educational visits and cultural experiences combined with recreational activities, such as hikes, river trips or visting local villages. These provide variety and a rounded cultural experience.

What You Can Expect From Our Well-Planned Itineraries

You can expect the following service from our itineraries that you may not find from other tour operators:

Efficient use of arrival days. Because you will not be combined with another group, you won’t have to wait hours at your arrival airport for those other groups to arrive. As soon as you pass through customs, your exclusive Tour Guide and your private coach and driver will greet you. Your customised group tour will commence immediately, allowing you to take full advantage of your first day.

Accommodations that make sense. We use quality hotels that are clean, safe, and convenient. We expect them to reflect the charm and character of the area you are visiting. For every customised group tour, we usually use twin rooms throughout (with, on occasion, a triple room if you have an odd number in your party). In capital and major cities, we use centrally-located hotels that make sightseeing and use of public transport (cost always included) easy and efficient.

Local Cuisine. We provide quality meals that feature authentic native cuisine. Breakfast is included at the hotel, as are dinners in the provinces. In capitals and some large cities, we include dinner in a local restaurant.

A Variety of Activities. Your touring programme will be carefully planned with you to offer variety, as well as a balance of these three elements:

Educational Visits – to your selected attractions (admission costs always included)

Cultural Experiences – you have selected from our list of Cultural Connections (pre-arranged when possible and included in your tour price)

Recreational Activities – such as walks, bike rides, shopping, or bowling (costs normally included: sometimes, you may wish to include them as a spontaneous evening activity for your group)
