Unfortunately, Christian travel programs and church tour operators have had the wrong focus. Most tours are hurried and impersonal.

This is because most companies seek to recruit individuals or tiny groups of two to five, and then combine them into one group for the tour. You find yourself on tour with complete strangers and have no flexibility regarding the tour content.

We disagree with this ‘take it or leave it’ attitude.

Other problems are unscrupulous advertising and hidden fees. To put it one way, “The brochure giveth and the fine print taketh away.”

Many operators advertise seemingly low prices. Upon further investigation, you can find required and optional extra fees totaling over $1000!

At Casterbridge Church Tours, we have set out to provide a radically different experience. This requires an innovative mission.

“No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old garment. If he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
