Life Science Tours
Life Sciences include many biological functions of animals and plants, including their genera, classifications, life cycles, and interdependencies. They include cell structure, growth, and disease. In some cases, they also include the human body and an introduction to different human cultures around the world – how humans have adapted to their environments and made their environments adapt to them.
- Animals: See the life cycles of tropical insects, such as butterflies, leaf insects, and ant colonies as they naturally occur in the rainforests of Mexico. See a baby wildebeest being born or lion cubs learning how to hunt on the Serengeti in Tanzania.
- Plants: Observe at first hand the symbiotic life cycles of trees, vines, and epiphytes in a tropical rainforest in Ecuador or Costa Rica. Explore how plants adapt to local conditions to survive and reproduce.
- Human Cultures: Interact directly with people from a totally different cultural background. Learn to appreciate the many varied forms of human society across the world. Visit Bolivia or Brazil, India or China, Egypt or Kenya.
