Casterbridge is a market leading group tour operator because we offer you the very best custom-designed tours, based on your individual needs and budget, with as few as 10 paying participants. We also give you added peace of mind that there are no hidden costs in the prices that we advertise for your group.

We have no registration fees and our quote to you will, as is our norm, include all airport taxes and fuel surcharges. We will not charge you adult or twin room supplements, and all excursions on your custom group tour are included in the price.

Some other tour companies may well surprise you with supplements for adults traveling, airport taxes and even for planned excursions. Since Casterbridge does not have any of these additional expenses, you will always know exactly what is included in your custom group tour.

Pricing Comparisons

Casterbridge Tours will never induce groups onto one of its tours with promises it does not intend to keep, nor seduce you with inexpensive prices only to add on all sorts of extras later.

Often, the extras added by other tour operators can amount to hundreds of pounds.

No other company will include as many admissions and excursions as Casterbridge without making additional charges. Furthermore, when you are in a capital city, we include the cost of a travel pass on the subway or bus.

For each custom group tour for any group of 10 or more, our all-inclusive costing is an intrinsic part of our touring philosophy. Casterbridge includes everything in advance so that participants don’t need to carry around large amounts of cash or feel excluded by hardship.

Furthermore, pre-booking all your visits to major sights will eliminate much unnecessary waiting in line.

No Commissions

You have a free day on your itinerary. What should you do? You ask your tour guide.

“Free days to explore” are often nothing more than opportunities for tour guides to earn commission by pressuring your group into purchasing high price ‘optional’ excursions.

With Casterbridge, there are no ‘optional’ excursions and our Tour Guides may not receive commissions for taking you to a site or a store. Instead, our guides will help you organise a range of additional, escorted evening and free-time activities at every destination featured in our tours, without cost implications, but as part of the total Casterbridge service.
